Brian Jones was born in Aberfan on February 20, 1940. He is much loved by his wife Janet and Children Andrew, Kevin and Kay, Avril and Melanie, Grand Children Emma, Leanne, Sian, Ryan, Lisa, Jacqueline, Liam, Stephanie, Chloe, Great Grand Chidren, Tyler, Connor, Owen and Rhian, Ieuan and Dafydd ,  and their families.

Brian was an active member of the community and established the Shakespeare Stars Marching and Display Band, which he ran for 30 years. Up until his illness Brian would dress as Father Christmas every year and walk his estate ringing his Christmas Bell, which brought joy to all residents.  Brian would also visit local primary schools as part of their Christmas Fayes.

Brian is sadly missed by his family but he will always remain in their hearts.
